What is Ban(ana)?
Ban(ana) is designed to help communities protect and manage their users through moderation, automation, logging, and other management tools.
Ban(ana) may access and process certain Discord information, including user information, server information, messages, and moderation-related information.
Ban(ana)’s features may change over time as we introduce new features, improve existing features, or remove features that are no longer supported.
Information Ban(ana) May Access
Depending on how Ban(ana) is configured, it may access:
Discord Usernames and IDs
Discord Server IDs
Channel IDs
Role IDs
Server Member Information
Messages in Configured Channels
Recent Messages During Message Cleanup
Moderation Information
Moderation Actions
Warning Information
Logging Information
Server Configuration Information
Ban(ana) only accesses information that is required for its features to operate.
Messages
Ban(ana) may access messages within channels that it has been configured to monitor.
Messages may be processed to detect activity that triggers Ban(ana)’s automated moderation features.
When Message Cleanup is enabled, Ban(ana) may search for messages sent by affected users within the configured cleanup period.
Cleanup may cover messages from the previous 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days.
Ban(ana) does not intentionally store the contents of processed messages as part of its normal server configuration.
Ban(ana) may temporarily process message information through Discord’s APIs while performing moderation and message cleanup.

Ban(ana) Feature Settings
Ban(ana) uses this information to remember server settings and provide the features configured by server staff.
Moderation Information
Ban(ana) may process information about moderation actions taken within servers.
This May Include:
Username and ID
Server
Channel
Action Taken
Moderation Reason
Messages Deleted
Cleanup Period
Warning Information
DM Delivery Status
This information may be used to provide moderation features, moderation logs, statistics, and other Ban(ana) functionality.
Direct Messages
When Direct Messages are enabled, Ban(ana) may send users private messages following moderation actions or warnings.
These messages may contain information about the action taken and the configured moderation reason.
Ban(ana) does not control whether Discord successfully delivers these messages.
Moderation Logs
Ban(ana) may send moderation logs to the logging channel selected by server staff.
Server staff are responsible for selecting an appropriate logging channel and controlling access to the information contained within it.
Ban(ana) does not control who can access a server’s logging channel or the information contained within it.
Server Configuration
Ban(ana) stores server configuration so that settings remain available after Ban(ana) restarts or reconnects.

Data Retention
Ban(ana) retains stored server configuration for as long as it is required to provide Ban(ana)’s services or maintain the functionality of Ban(ana).
Removing Ban(ana) from a server does not necessarily mean that all stored information is immediately deleted.
If you would like information associated with your server or user information processed by Ban(ana) to be deleted, you can contact us through the official Ban(ana) Support Server.
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, technical reasons, legal requirements, or other legitimate purposes.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed and stored by Ban(ana).
However, no online service, database, or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Ban(ana) cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or lost as a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Third-Party Services
Ban(ana) operates through Discord and may rely on Discord’s APIs and other third-party services.
Ban(ana) may use third-party infrastructure to store and process information required for its operation.
Ban(ana) is not responsible for how third-party services independently collect, process, store, or use information.
Discord and other third-party services may have their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.
Discord
Ban(ana) relies on Discord to provide the platform and APIs required for its operation.
Discord may independently collect and process information when you use Discord.
Ban(ana) does not control information that Discord collects independently of Ban(ana).
You should review Discord’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for information about how Discord processes your information.
Server Responsibility
Server staff are responsible for how Ban(ana) is configured and used within their community.
Server staff are also responsible for informing their users about Ban(ana)’s use where required by applicable laws or regulations.
Server staff control which channels Ban(ana) can access, which features are enabled, and which users or roles are exempt from moderation.
User Privacy Requests
Depending on applicable laws, you may have rights regarding information processed by Ban(ana).

Objecting to Certain Processing
We may need to verify requests before taking action.
Some information may not be able to be deleted where it is required for security, abuse prevention, legal requirements, or other legitimate purposes.
Children's Privacy
Ban(ana) is not specifically designed for children.
Users should comply with Discord’s applicable age requirements and Terms of Service when using Discord and Ban(ana).

Changes to Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to Ban(ana), its features, its services, or applicable requirements.
Any changes to these Privacy Policy will be reflected by an updated date. Continuing to use Ban(ana) after the Privacy Policy have been updated, you agree to the revised Privacy Policy, where permitted by applicable law.
